Emotional Wellness is the ability to understand your own
feelings, accept your limitations, and achieve emotional stability. It is your
ability to express your emotions in the appropriate way, being able to adjust
to change, coping with your stress in a healthy way, and to enjoy your life
during good times and hard times. To be emotionally well, you have to be able
to face both success and failure and be able to keep moving forward. Emotional
wellness is also about happiness. It is the ability to know that happiness does
not come from people, money, nor is it a destination. It is a way of life and
to be emotionally well you have to be aware that it comes from within, it is a
long-term state of mind that effects your outlook on life.
